Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse of Central Texas

The pink playhouse lawsuit has been dropped against a Columbia County homeowner.

Mills Haven resident Becky Rogers-Peck built the pink playhouse for her four year old granddaughter last Christmas. Earlier this year, the subdivision's homeowners association (HOA) filed a lawsuit against Rogers-Peck, saying the pink color wasn't approved and they wanted it repainted. 

Now, it looks like the playhouse will be staying pink.

Your average Carnival cruise offers plenty of entertainment options. You can stuff yourself full of deli meats and warmed-over pasta at the buffet. You can swim in a chlorinated pool in the middle of an ocean. You can pretend to like shuffleboard. Or, like Orlando resident Kurt Gies, you can strut your stuff in a contest to find the hairiest man on the boat.

How long were you on this planet before you realized that hot things hurt, and you shouldn't touch them? A few months? A year or two, tops? So when you see a black marble bench, baking in a summer Texas sun on a 101-degree day, maybe you think, hey, it's probably hot, I shouldn't sit there. And even if you sit down, and burn yourself, you probably get up immediately rather than waiting for the third-degree burns to set in.
